The India–UAE partnership is putting real Indian brands into the Gulf. Read who awards the degree. A four-hour flight is not a scholarship.

The Gulf is no longer only branch campuses of British and American universities in Dubai International Academic City. IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi, Khalifa University, and a thicker India–UAE education track mean a student can stay closer to home without pretending a mall is Massachusetts.
The rule we will keep printing: who awards the degree? NYU Abu Dhabi is NYU. A generic DIAC brand using a similar name is not. Employer-sponsored work is the UAE labour market — there is no UK-style open Graduate Route.
What this means: families who want four-hour flights and Indian food will find both. Families who want a three-year Canadian-style work permit will not.
