Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of the Maha Study Abroad portal (studyabroad.mahacet.org), an official initiative of the Government of Maharashtra.
1. Purpose of this portal
This portal provides information and guidance to students from Maharashtra who are considering education abroad, and a facility to apply to participating institutions. It is an information and facilitation service; it is not an admission authority, a visa authority, or a financial adviser.
2. Information is indicative
Tuition, living costs, salaries, rankings and return-on-investment estimates shown on this portal are indicative ranges compiled from public sources, correct to the best of our knowledge on the date stated on each page. They are not quotations or promises. Always verify figures directly with each university and with official government sources before making decisions.
3. No endorsement
No university, institution, agent or service provider is endorsed or recommended by the Government of Maharashtra through this portal. Inclusion of an institution on this portal indicates only that it has completed the portal's verification process; the decision to apply remains entirely yours.
4. Accounts
Where you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the accuracy of the information you submit. Accounts used fraudulently, or to submit false documents, may be suspended and referred to the appropriate authorities.
5. Intellectual property

6. External links
Links to external websites, including university and Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) resources, are provided for convenience. The Government of Maharashtra is not responsible for the content or availability of external sites.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Government of Maharashtra accepts no liability for any loss arising from reliance on information on this portal, including changes to visa, post-study-work or admission rules made by any government or institution.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
