Work after study
Hong Kong still gives 24 months to work after you graduate — no job offer needed first
The IANG visa sits on top of three universities that regularly outrank most of Europe. Read the political climate as well as the ranking table.

The University of Hong Kong, HKUST and Chinese University of Hong Kong continue to cluster in the QS top 50 — a density no other small place matches. The Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates (IANG) still give a 24-month open window. For an India-based family targeting Asia finance rather than California, that combination is more coherent than a mid-rank US master’s.
The political climate is part of the briefing. Students should read their university’s own guidance, not only a ranking table. Density, typhoons and small flats are the ordinary inconveniences. Putonghua (Mandarin) helps.
What this means: a one-year taught master’s in finance or engineering is the product. Students who wanted a four-year American lawn will hate it. Students who wanted a job in Asia markets often do not.
